Health by Saarvi ("we", "us", "our") is an online nutrition and wellness guidance service run by Saarvi. We offer personalised diet plans, habit-building programs and condition-specific nutrition support, including for PCOS, thyroid, diabetes and gut health, to clients across India and abroad.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit healthbysaarvi.com, message us, book a free call or join a program, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, phone or WhatsApp number and email address.
  • Basic profile: age, gender, height, weight, city and daily routine.
  • Health and food information: health conditions such as PCOS, thyroid or diabetes, medicines you take, allergies, food preferences, eating habits, sleep and activity, and any medical or lab reports you choose to share.
  • Progress updates: weight, measurements, photos or notes you send during your program.
  • Messages: what you write to us on WhatsApp, email, forms or calls.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, approximate location (city level), pages you visit and how long you stay, collected through cookies and similar tools.

Payments

If you pay for a program, the payment is handled by a secure third-party payment provider. We do not store your card, UPI PIN or net banking details on our website. We keep only a record that the payment was made.

How we use your information

We use your information only for purposes connected to helping you, including to:

  • book and hold your free call and consultations;
  • create your personalised nutrition plan and update it as you progress;
  • send your plan, reminders and check-ins on WhatsApp, call or email;
  • answer your questions and give support;
  • share offers, health tips or updates, only if you have agreed to receive them (you can opt out anytime);
  • understand how our website is used and make it better;
  • keep our records, prevent misuse and meet legal requirements.

Health information and consent

Details about your health are sensitive, and we treat them with extra care. We ask for them only so that we can guide you safely, and we use them only with your consent. You choose what to share, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Please note that if you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to continue some parts of your plan.

Our programs are educational nutrition and wellness guidance. They do not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Please keep following your doctor's advice and tell us about any medicines or conditions so that we can guide you safely.

We will never use your photos, progress results or testimonials publicly (on our website or social media) without your clear, written permission.

Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal or health information. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers who help us run the service, such as messaging apps (for example WhatsApp), email and calendar tools, video-call tools, payment providers, website hosting and analytics. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • Legal reasons, if required by law, a court order or a government authority, or to protect rights and safety.
  • With your permission, for example if you ask us to coordinate with your doctor.

Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. We choose providers that follow reasonable security standards.

Cookies and website analytics

Cookies are small files saved on your device. We use them to keep the website working properly, remember your settings and understand which pages are useful. We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to see overall visitor patterns. These reports do not tell us who you are personally.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, though some features may not run as smoothly.

Our website may link to other sites, such as WhatsApp, Instagram or YouTube. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

Data security and storage

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, including limited access, password-protected accounts and trusted tools. No website or online service can promise complete security, but we work to protect your data and will act quickly if there is ever a problem.

We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide our services, keep records and meet legal needs. After that, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you. If you ask us to delete your information earlier, we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights and choices

In line with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your information, subject to legal requirements;
  • stop sending you messages or offers, and withdraw consent you gave earlier;
  • address a complaint about how your data is handled.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 10. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm your identity first, to protect your information.

Children's privacy

Our services are meant for adults aged 18 and above. If someone under 18 needs nutrition guidance, a parent or legal guardian must contact us, give consent and take part in the consultation. We do not knowingly collect information from children without a parent's or guardian's consent. If you think a child has shared information with us without such consent, please tell us and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when our services or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. If we make a major change, we will let you know on our website or directly. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
